Project Title: the Pearl Website
Client or Class Name: National Resources - www.thepearlnj.com/

Assignment: ….. The developer/owner  of the building, National Resources, approached us to design the Phase II website  for this high end condominium building. The building was originally designed  by Skidmore Owings & Merrill in 1953 as Unilevers Corporate Headquarters.

Approach: ……. We re-imagined the Pearl as Boutique Waterfront Residences on the Hudson River. The website was designed to be a full browser width “picture book” that showcases the beautiful model home photography  & the iconic waterfront lifestyle. There is an unexpected element of surprise when scrolling through this single page site. It has been designed to scroll seamlessly both vertically & horizontally. The site has been given a clean & elegant  look by hiding the copy under the “More” buttons which can be access  by rolling over them. The audience  for this site are potential  buyers & it has been designed  to give them a window into the possibilities of their future life. The landing page was designed to accommodate an area to feature upcoming events. Right now it is featuring the Designer Showcase Event. When there is no event, the white translucent  band closes up closer to the tag line.

Results: ……… This site reflects these  unique modern residences  & the client is very pleased with the new Phase II design. National Resources  loves what we do & we love working with them!
