Most doctors agree that the best way to cure illnesses is through early detection. That’s exactly why a brand like Tylenol wants to provide a way for people to detect colds early on in order to treat it with the proper medicine and dosage. Every year 7,000 children under the age of 12 are brought to an Emergency room as a result of incorrect dosing. Shazam is an app that identifies music. It has more than 1 billion users in more than 190 countries worldwide. However it’s technology could also be used to identify just about any noise or sound. Therefor, by partnering with Shazam, Tylenol will help people identify their cold in the most convenient way possible.

Working with doctors and sound engineers, we’ll build a program through Shazam that can analyze the different sound waves of people’s coughs. It will also save your information and check in periodically on your progress towards health by sending you push notifications. Medicine has the power to treat diseases. And with technology, we can properly treat people.
