Pomi USA came to QNY Creative to draft and design a brand new B2B Catalog for food distributors and chefs. New products had been introduced in the line of quintessentially Italian tomato juices, sauces, concentrates and purees. Pomi was looking to get the word out to key stakeholders in the industry while also meeting the current needs of retailers and consumers alike.
For the first time, Pomi has expanded beyond the iconic brick packaging to offer organic and conventional tomatoes, paste and juice in cans, jars and tubes. This new range called for an authentic expression of the artisan craftsmanship, care and passion for which Pomi is known for to be reflected to the relevant trade sector.
The result was a captivating visual departure. QNY approached this opportunity wanting to highlight the authenticity and rich, evocative landscapes that bring vibrant flavor to Pomi tomatoes. Highlighting the harmonious relationship that is created between soil, climate and people, the catalog offers not only a fresh and clean design, but also a glimpse into moments of the life of an Italian farmer, uniting the worlds of US trade with the production process of Italy.
The bold cover was chosen for its dramatic presence. The heavy use of black elevates the shadow of the tomato, putting it literally in the spotlight. QNY strived to put tomatoes at the core center of the catalog experience, reminding chefs that perfection starts with simplicity, at its best.
