Now more than ever, the source of our food’s ingredients is vital to the health-minded eater—the apex of its value and nourishment—and that means food crafted from high-quality ingredients. Miller’s Batch is made with organic and non-GMO oats that are roasted in small batches to create signature oatmeal blends.
Inspired by Quaker’s rich heritage of nearly 140 years of oat expertise, Miller’s Batch is rooted in high quality select oats. Quaker was one of the first brands to create iconic breakfast packaging that has become a beloved part of consumers’ morning rituals. In honor of this, we created a wholly original pack design across structure and graphics, leveraging Quaker’s heritage in a contemporary way.
Miller’s Batch defines a new category space as an elevated product line under Quaker. The design challenge was to develop a niche and premium proposition for a portfolio of organic and non-GMO products that would highlight Quaker’s rich story and milling heritage. Miller’s Batch brings us closer to the story of the oat through a packaging design that is both straightforward and premium. The origin story is featured prominently against a natural kraft canvas, accented with original imagery, vivid colors, and authentic typography. Upon opening the oatmeal blend cartons, the inner flap reveals a beautiful illustrative pattern that highlights the premium ingredients.
