    Project Title: McDonald’s – Eight Nights of Fries

    The story of Hannukah tells of the Maccabees’ menorah miraculously burning for eight days, despite having enough sacred oil for only one day’s lighting. Because of this, it is customary for Jews to celebrate Hannukah by eating foods fried in oil, like latkes and jelly doughnuts. In its Israeli restaurants, McDonald’s will highlight the spirit of Hannukah and the miracle of oil by putting its French fries front and center on Jewish holiday.
