InterContinental Hotels Group came to QNY Creative to redesign a responsive, sales-driven hospitality and travel webpage for the new InterContinental Wharf Hotel in Washington D.C., focusing on seasonal and special deals that optimize conversion rates among users. The website strived to reflect the updated brand strandards that IHG (InterContinental Hotel Group) has provided, while also celebrating the up-and-coming locality of the renovated Wharf District.
QNY responded by creating an understated, luxe, discovery-driven and alluring design for the website. The team integrated new brand colors, a bespoke typeface and pattern, weaving them seamlessly into one composition. Alongside the website, QNY also launched a retargeting ad campaign with a complementary visual style to encourage traffic on the site and drive users to book. Elegant buttons are clear and easy to find, and make it very simple for viewers to become future customers.
The new website has experienced tremendous success, both in terms of driving conversions and generating organic traffic, while also being a statement of chicness and luxury that redefines the stylistic identity of the InterContinental brand.
