Project Title: Gurunanda Essential Oils
Client or Class Name: Gurunanda - https://gurunanda.com

LBB was tasked to re-brand Gurunanda, an essential oil company, to embody a new brand positioning focusing on lifestyle and allowing for better consumer understanding,  as well as providing a platform for growth into new categories.  Gurunanda is an essential oil brand started by a self-proclaimed guru,  with the credentials to back up the title and a true dedication to helping people improve their health and lives with essential oils. Gurunanada’s products are the purest essential oils sourced from all over the world. While the product itself is superior, the brand is sold primarily in Walmart – adding to the lack of awareness for the vast majority of consumers in the category, and also creating doubt around brand quality.  But with wellness becoming a driver in both mass and luxury, people are becoming more curious about how essential oils can lead to better health. More and more people are self medicating as well and looking for more natural and less clinical ways to treat ailments. This makes the therapeutic benefits and medicinal power of essential oils ripe to fill this consumer need. The primary objectives of the re-design were to clearly establish Gurunanda as a lifestyle brand and create a packaging system that allowed consumers to easily shop the brand and understand the benefits. Target Audience Wellness is an aspirational lifestyle,  seeking education, knowing there is much more they don’t know. They want to be inspired and informed and will pay for quality.  Positioning To guide people to live well. We believe health & wellness is right, not a privilege and that essential oils are a key ingredient in that healthy lifestyle. Natural, modern, owning Indian heritage, vibrant, healthy, inviting, global, knowledgeable.
