Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs and other content from artists all over the world. Spotify customizes listener’s playlists for every individual, based on their own listening habits. Moreover, it started to generate a playlist based on a DNA tests collaborated with ‘Ancestry(genealogy company) since last year. Therefore, as a message of sincere respect to every individual’s difference, it is necessary to emphasize this ‘sophisticated customization’ which can also increase brand intimacy. We used the image of the fingerprint, which indicates the difference between every individual. Make some parts of the fingerprint being colored as the shape of logo of Spotify. Write the message ‘Discover your Musical ID’ that would make a well-match with the key message of Spotify ‘Music for Everyone’ under the image. It can intuitively show the remarkable points of Spotify’s playlist. With the idea of fingerprint, consumers feel Spotify’s customization is scientific and reasonable. In other words, Spotify helps customers to discover more about themselves.
