Miné Salkin is an award-winning digital marketer, multimedia journalist, and digital content producer. Originally from Vancouver Canada, she currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing at Powered Labs at their global headquarters in Tampa, Florida. She is also the Creative Director and Co-Founder of Gauge Social, a lifestyle marketing brand.
Since 2007, Salkin has developed and produced creative content spanning from digital to print to television broadcast media. Since 2012, she has focused her creativity in digital advertising and content production for national and international brands such as Bud Light, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the New York Yankees, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Budweiser, Corona, Stella Artois and more. Salkin has been the recipient of several creative awards including GDUSA, the dotCOMM Awards, the Hermes Creative Awards, the Davey Awards, the Communicator Awards, the Muse Creative Awards, and the MarCom Awards.
Prior to working in advertising, Salkin worked in story research and production in the documentary television industry, producing true crime and reality series for Investigation Discovery, the Oprah Winfrey Network, TLC and Animal Planet.
Salkin is also an internationally published journalist who’s covered topics from technology to crime, boasting bylines from publications such as VICE Motherboard, Engadget, MSN.com, the Globe and Mail, Metro Newspaper, Exclaim!, the Block Magazine, SPIN, The Tyee, and has served as the Under Review editor for Discorder Magazine, Vancouver’s longest-running independent music magazine. She has also been published in the Liverpool Echo music blog, and served as web editor for Bido Lito! Magazine, a magazine in Liverpool, UK, dedicated to the new and emerging musical talents in the city.
