    Our Competition Rules

    Our rules are simple – make sure your work is your own and no spec allowed. But if you need some more details they are provided below.

    Media & Interactive

    The 47th Media & Interactive Awards deadline is EXTENDED to April 14, 2017. For further details, click on the categories below.

    Who Can Enter?

    Ad agencies, web designers, developers, graphic designers, photographers, freelance designers, producers, marketers, app developers and corporate art departments may submit entries that first broadcast or went live between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 (void where prohibited). Student work must have been created during the 2015-2017 school year. Instructors and professors may submit work on behalf of a student. Student work will be evaluated separately from professional work. All student winners will be eligible for selection in our Student Mentoring Program. Anyone involved with the creation of the advertisement or design work may submit the entry.

    Number of Entries Permitted

    There is no limit to the amount of work that can be submitted by a single entity. Submissions may be entered into multiple categories for additional entry fees. The judges’ decisions are final and binding and cannot be appealed by the entrant.

    Deadlines

    Entries must be received by midnight EDT April 14, 2017 to avoid late fees. Email [email protected] or call 866.824.3974 to submit late entries or with questions about the competition. Late entries received after April 14, 2017 will incur a $20.00 late fee per entry. Judging is conducted April 14 – April 21, 2017.

    Payment

    Credit card payments are accepted through our online system or through the mail. Checks may be mailed with an entry if accompanied by an invoice generated by the entry system. Please make checks payable to Creativity International Awards. International advertisers and designers can pay using wire-transfer. There is a charge of $20 to cover bank fees. Wire transfer account information can be obtained by contacting us at [email protected] .

    Print & Packaging

    Who Can Enter?

    Ad agencies, publishers, developers, graphic designers, photographers, freelance designers, illustrators, marketers and corporate art departments may submit entries that first appeared in print between June 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017 (void where prohibited). Student work must have been created during the 2016-2017 school year. Instructors and professors may submit work on behalf of a student. Student work will be evaluated separately from professional work. All student winners will be eligible for selection in our Student Mentoring Programme. Anyone involved with the creation of the advertisement or design work may submit the entry.

Late entries postmarked or entered electronically after 5:00 pm EDT Sept. 15 will incur a $20.00 late fee per entry. Payments must be received by 5 pm Sept. 15 or entry will be disqualified. Judging dates are TBD. Entrants will be notified of their results within 30 days of the conclusion of judging.

    Creativity International Awards follows all guidelines for ethical contests recommended by the Graphic Artists Guild.
