    Our Competition Rules

    Our rules are simple – make sure your work is your own and no spec allowed. But if you need some more details they are provided below.

    Media & Interactive

    Who Can Enter?

    Creativity Awards is open to all advertising and design entities – including but not limited to ad agencies, in-house marketing departments, developers, producers, non-profits and freelance designers. Entries must have appeared in print or in market between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 (void where prohibited). Except in the case of student entries – spec work is not accepted. Student entries are accepted from any school, any design program, any country, any level of student. Student work must have been created during the 2016-2017-2018 school years. Instructors and professors may submit work on behalf of a student. Student work will be evaluated separately from professional work. Translations (if applicable) must be included for foreign language entries. Anyone involved with the creation of the advertisement or design work may submit.

    Number of Entries Permitted

    There is no limit to the amount of work that can be submitted by a single entity. Submissions may be entered into multiple categories for additional entry fees. The judges’ decisions are final and binding and cannot be appealed by the entrant.

    Deadlines

    Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm EDT April 13. Late deadline is 11:59 pm EST April 20. Email [email protected] or call 502-797-8408 with questions about late entries or the competition.

    Late entries uploaded after April 20 will incur a $20.00 late fee per entry.

    Judging is conducted April 2018. Entrants will be notified of their results within 30 days of the conclusion of judging.

    Payment

    Credit card payments are accepted through our online system or through the mail. Checks may be mailed with an entry if accompanied by an invoice generated by the entry system. Please make checks payable to Creativity International Awards. International advertisers and designers can pay using wire-transfer. There is a charge of $20 to cover bank fees. Wire transfer account information can be obtained by contacting us at [email protected] .

Instructors and professors may submit work on behalf of a student. Student work will be evaluated separately from professional work. Translations (if applicable) must be included for foreign language entries.

    Creativity International Awards follows all guidelines for ethical contests recommended by the Graphic Artists Guild.
