    The Ask :

    Create a data visualization system for the 53rd Annual Hatch Awards that reinforces the sensation of a connected creative community, and supports the concept of careers being “hatched” by the most influential leaders in the industry.

     The Idea :

    For thousands of years artists and scientists have created stories or images about the sky and its constellations. Lets face it: all creatives think they’re stars. All hatched in dramatic fashion that they’d relate to the big bang. And one day, they’ll all burn out. Datastronomy is an exercise in conceptual minimalism, with a clear geometric bent that betrays SapientNitro’s math-nerd origins.

    Concentrated yet vast. Simple yet beautiful.

    Just like the night sky.
