#1. Describe Mission
As sales of SPA brands such as UNIQCLO, ZARA, H&M grew, people tend to throw out their clothes after few months – so called “Fast Fashion”. Each year $90,000,000 of old clothes are wasted even though they are worth as new as new clothes. Is it possible to change the point of view of those old clothes we do not wear any longer because they are out of fashion?
#2. Describe Idea
OTCAN is non-profit organization – we receive donation for second-hand, used clothes and help the 3rd world children.
Our idea is very simple.
When you hang your old clothes to “Good Hanger” set up at the outside that completes OTCAN’s logo.
And then it turns your unwanted clothes into new clothes.
That will lead to valuable donation.
#3. Describe results & achievement
About 300 people were interested in the campaign during the day
and 56 clothes were donated to ‘Good hanger’.
Also, people who participated in the campaign has changed positively their awareness for ‘old clothes’.
#4. OPTIONAL Additional Point
A simple idea of “good hanger” converts the clothes we hardly wear into something more useful in good means of donation.
